Raspberry red Color, clear and brilliant with fine aromas with notes of red and black fruits, Flavors of blackcurrant and blackberries give it roundness and suppleness. A nice length in the mouth to appreciate the diversity of flavors and the minerality of the wine.
Opens with a bouquet of ripe blackberry, plum, and currant with just a hint of herbaceousness. The palate offers concentrated tannins with flavors of dark fruit and cherry, a hint of smokiness, and a touch of cedar. This wine is well-balanced with a persistent finish.
Blend: 60% Grenache noir, 25% Syrah,10% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault…. The nose is very fruity, with notes of redcurrant and blackberry jam, mixed with pretty woody notes. An aromatic intensity (wild strawberry, spices) is found in a full, silky and fresh mouth, supported by velvety tannins.

Fr. … Fresh, plentiful aromas of vanilla bean, ripe blackberries, red currants, just-sliced strawberries, coconut, violets, star anise, cranberries, and black cherries. On the palate, juicy acidity is paired with ripe, chalky tannins and lovely flavors of fresh baking spices, fresh black cherries, graphite, nasturtium leaf, stewed plums, and 70% dark chocolate. A lingering, layered finish undulates between fresh red and black fruit, restrained oak.

The majority of the blend is Syrah but still has large amounts of Grenache, Mourvèdre and a little white wine in to lift the nose. Savory and fruity is hard to accomplish but this wine delivers both.

The palate is warm with dark fruit flavors of blueberry, cassis, and blackberry compote which are complemented with briary notes and an energetic freshness. Strikes ideal balance of tannins, fruit and acidity.
Elegant, soft, but still vibrant and juicy ripe red fruit dissolves across your cheeks. Pure and complex bouquet of sweet dark berries, cassis, a bit of smoked meats, and cranberry. Lovely base of granitic soil tones, cumin and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and complex, with a lovely core of black fruit, excellent soil signature and grip, a fair bit of ripe tannin and a long, structured and complex finish.
